Having in a way its own wall, the neighbourhood has remained as it was in the past and here you will find the tranquillity that at many times of the day is lacking in the Medina, which will invite you to stroll through souks and shops without having to suffer the harassment of the vendors.

It also has a wide range of riads, although somewhat more expensive than in the neighboring Medina and many offers of restoration, tato traditional cuisine as Western so it is another of the best places to sleep in Marrakech.

This neighborhood is also characterized by being one of the most commercial areas and has large avenues where most of the famous brand shops are located.

Located on the outskirts of the city, about 7 kilometers from the center, the Parmeral is an area of more than 12,000 hectares known for having more than 200,000 specimens of palms, in an ancient oasis.

Although for us it is not the most recommended option to stay in Marrakech, especially if it is the first time you travel to the city and you want to know it thoroughly; if you are looking for a luxury hotel, this could be the best option next to Hivernage, much more expensive, which we will talk about later.

Here the tranquillity is assured since you will be to far from any souk or salesman although also you will be far from the essence of Marrakech.

The price of the accommodation in the Palmeral is usually 100 euros a night although there are riads that have rooms for less than 50 euros a night.
